At İzel Kimya A.Ş, we conduct our activities within the framework of the "Sustainable Supply Chain" and expect all our stakeholders and suppliers to adopt this approach. Accordingly, our policy includes the following principles:
Establish long-term supply contracts with suppliers to avoid supply disruptions while ensuring the delivery of products and services.
Adhere to legal requirements in all procurement processes.
Promote sustainable awareness and evaluations with our suppliers.
Implement effective supplier selection methods, rigorously questioning sustainability within this evaluation process.
Perform environmental, social, and occupational safety assessments in supplier evaluations to ensure these criteria meet the standards.
Establish an effective evaluation system with on-site audits of suppliers via periodic planning.,
This is the core of our Sustainable Supply Chain Policy.
Within this framework, İzel Kimya A.Ş ("İzel Kimya") expects all our suppliers to adopt the following principles, implement them in their work environments, and share them with all employees to ensure that they are well-informed on these matters.
1. LEGAL PRACTICES
Compliance with Legislation and Contracts
Suppliers must act in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of the contracts they have signed in their commercial activities.
Competition Law
Suppliers must not engage in any actions or transactions that are contrary to competition. They must operate in full compliance with the regulations governing their areas of activity.
Bribery and Corruption
Suppliers must not offer, give, or accept bribes, payments, or anything of value to or from organizations or individuals. They must not tolerate bribery or corruption and must behave consistently and sensitively in these matters.
2. WORKING CONDITIONS
Non-Discrimination
Suppliers must not discriminate on the basis of language, race, color, gender, disability, political opinion, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect, or similar reasons in all employment-related decisions, including hiring, promotions, compensation, benefits, training, mandatory layoffs, or termination.
Compensation and Remuneration
Suppliers must ensure that the wages paid to their employees, including overtime or other benefits, are at least equal to or greater than the amounts specified in the applicable Labor Law and other relevant regulations.
Forced Labor
Suppliers must use only voluntary labor and employ staff who work of their own free will. They must not coerce, threaten, make false claims, or use any form of pressure or force to make their employees work.
Child and Young Workers
Suppliers must not employ individuals under the age of 15 unless a higher age limit is specified by applicable regulations. Suppliers must not employ child or young workers (under 18 years old) in night shifts in industrial jobs.
Working Hours
Suppliers must comply with the applicable regulations regarding working hours, overtime, and other work arrangements.
Basic Human Rights
Suppliers must respect the dignity, privacy, freedom of expression, and rights of every individual.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
Suppliers must recognize the legal rights of their employees to organize and engage in collective bargaining. They must not discriminate or apply pressure to employees for participating in such organizations or unions.
Harassment Prevention
Suppliers must not tolerate physical, sexual, psychological, or emotional harassment of employees in the workplace or while performing job-related tasks. They must take preventive measures to avoid psychological harassment and not engage in, encourage, or facilitate such behaviors.
3. ETHICAL RULES
Basic Principles
Suppliers must conduct all their activities in line with the following basic principles:
Reflecting honesty and accuracy in their work
Being humble, respectful, and understanding
Ensuring consistency and clarity in actions and words
Working with cost awareness (avoiding waste) and efficiency
Meeting customer needs in the best possible way
Working to achieve the company mission and vision
Avoiding behaviors that could damage corporate identity or reputation
Complying with relevant regulations
Continuously improving competencies and service quality
Adopting a spirit of corporate identity and teamwork
Encouraging creativity, different ideas, collective intelligence, teamwork, and flexible thinking and behavior
Conducting activities in an environmentally friendly manner

Confidentiality and Protection of Trade Secrets
Suppliers must keep documents, commercial, or technical information received from Izel Kimya confidential. They must treat all confidential materials, designs, projects, information, and knowledge regarding Izel Kimya as company secrets and, unless otherwise specified in contracts, must not disclose or make them available to third parties.
Conflict of Interest
Suppliers must avoid actions that create conflicts of interest or unfair competition with Izel Kimya. They must not use Izel Kimya’s resources, information, documents, or infrastructure for their own benefit.
Business Records
Suppliers must maintain accurate records of all business-related information, in full compliance with applicable laws, and must be honest and transparent in interactions with regulatory bodies and official authorities. They must not engage in fraud or irregularities regarding the company's required documentation.
Relationships with Third Parties
Suppliers must evaluate and select organizations, vendors, business partners, and representatives in a transparent, impartial, and equal manner, prioritizing Izel Kimya's interests while ensuring the best service to customers.
Gifts and Benefits
Suppliers must not offer or accept gifts or items that could create the appearance of wrongdoing, lead to dependency, or be perceived as such, except for promotional items or those with a value not exceeding a quarter of the minimum wage, such as pens, calendars, or agendas.
Custodial Assets
Suppliers must protect and take necessary precautions to ensure that any items entrusted to them by Izel Kimya, such as molds, tools, equipment, and materials, are not used for personal purposes or for the benefit of third parties.
Material Usage
Suppliers must not use counterfeit, faulty, defective, or expired materials and chemicals. Any additional costs, losses, or penalties resulting from the use of such materials must be compensated by the suppliers.
Social Media Usage
Suppliers must not publish any messages on social media that are harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, degrading, false, or threatening, or that target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, or any legally protected status.
Supply Chain
Suppliers must adhere to the principle of non-discrimination in selecting their suppliers and treat their suppliers fairly, ensuring that their own suppliers also comply with all these Ethical Rules.
4. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Suppliers must comply with legal regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety and ensure the health and safety of their employees and visitors. They must implement an effective health and safety management system, create safe and healthy working environments, control potential hazards, and take all necessary precautions to prevent accidents and workplace diseases. They must provide training to ensure that their employees are aware of and apply health and safety measures.
5. ENVIRONMENT
Suppliers must be aware of their social responsibility to protect the environment and actively establish or use an environmental management system that complies with international standards. They must regularly monitor and comply with environmental regulations. Suppliers must reduce environmental pollution and promote continuous improvement in environmental protection efforts, spreading this awareness among their employees.
Suppliers must align their activities with environmental regulations and work to ensure that their supply chain is environmentally responsible.
Emissions Reduction
Suppliers must identify the sources of emissions (CO2, SOX, NOx, particulate matter, and other greenhouse gases) and take innovative, forward-looking actions to reduce these emissions.
Climate-Friendly / Green Technology
Given the global environmental challenges, a key objective is to have an environmentally responsible supply chain. Suppliers are expected to comply with environmental regulations and adopt green technologies that reduce their environmental impact.
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
Suppliers should seek opportunities to substitute conventional energy sources with sustainable/renewable sources and continuously improve the efficiency and performance of their equipment and processes.
Responsible Resource Use
Effective management of resources, including water and energy, is crucial for sustainability. Suppliers are expected to minimize resource consumption through better processes, recycling, and using sustainable materials.
Environmental Products
Suppliers must aim to provide environmentally friendly products, which help in enhancing their competitiveness while reducing the environmental impact.
6. QUALITY
Compliance with production standards and product quality is of utmost importance.
Quality Management System
Suppliers are expected to have an approved Quality Management System in place and ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Facilities and Equipment
Suppliers must take care in the design, installation, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring proper validation and verification. They must also maintain hygiene, safety, and security in their workforce environment.
Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Control
Suppliers must update production and packaging activities with proper maintenance and process control records, along with final product delivery schedules.
Material Management
Suppliers should establish systems for managing raw material storage, handling, and transportation, and apply best practices in handling rejected materials, developing risk prevention measures.
